The reasons for this include; dimensional stability, rigidity-no flexing, extremely flat and parallel, thermally stable when heated due to their mass, custom edge profiles that can be easily re-sharpened on the production floor.

The key feature of all kiss cutting applications is the maintenance of strict tolerance on flatness and parallelism. All ODC tooling is precision ground within .002" TIR.
