ODC manufactures matched metal trim tools for in-chain and out-of-the chain trimming of thermoformed packages. You will find our staff knowledgeable in trimming the full range of thermoplastic films with the lowest possible generation of particulate. Clean trim is accomplished by consistently holding very small punch to die clearances (down to .0002"), maintaining exacting flatness and parallelism on all tooling components and using appropriate shear on the punches.
Our craftsmen manufacture the highest quality hand forged and solid machined cutting dies available in the industry. Continuously produced by ODC since 1923, forged dies, also known as high dies, are the best solution for cut-in-place and high volume in-line cutting of thermoplastic sheet. Solid machined dies are used for pass through hanger cutouts, "Euro slots" and intricate trim line requirements.
